Prunus × subhirtella ‘Falling Snow’ — Weeping White Cherry

Graceful Weeping Form: ‘Falling Snow’ develops elegant, cascading branches that create a soft and flowing silhouette. Its distinctive shape makes it a beautiful focal point for lawns, courtyards, and garden borders.

Abundant White Blossom: In spring, the pendulous branches become covered with masses of delicate white flowers, creating the impression of a gentle curtain of blossom. The flowering display makes this ornamental cherry particularly striking when viewed against green foliage.

Fresh Green Foliage: Following its spring flowering, attractive green leaves emerge to form a light, leafy canopy through the warmer months. The foliage complements the tree’s graceful cascading structure.

Excellent Feature Tree: A wonderful choice for lawns, entrances, courtyards, Japanese-style gardens, and smaller landscape areas. Plant where the cascading branches can be appreciated and allowed room to develop naturally.

Sun-Loving & Easy Care: ‘Falling Snow’ performs best in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil and consistent moisture during establishment. A sheltered position and occasional formative pruning can help maintain its attractive weeping shape.

Elegant & Seasonal: Combining a distinctive cascading habit, spectacular white spring flowers, fresh summer foliage, and attractive winter structure, ‘Falling Snow’ brings graceful seasonal interest to the landscape.
