Prunus subhirtella ‘Pendula Rosea’

Elegant Weeping Growth: Pendula Rosea develops gracefully cascading branches that create a soft, flowing silhouette. Its distinctive weeping habit makes it an eye-catching feature tree for lawns, courtyards, and garden borders.

Delicate Pink Blossom: In spring, the pendulous branches become adorned with masses of soft pink flowers. The charming blooms create a beautiful seasonal display and provide an attractive focal point in the landscape.

Fresh Summer Foliage: Following flowering, the tree produces attractive green leaves that create a light, leafy canopy throughout the warmer months. The foliage complements the elegant shape of the cascading branches.

Outstanding Feature Tree: A wonderful choice for lawns, entranceways, courtyards, Japanese-inspired gardens, and smaller landscape settings. Its graceful form works particularly well when planted where the weeping canopy can be viewed from different angles.

Sun-Loving & Easy Care: Pendula Rosea performs best in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil and regular moisture during establishment. A sheltered position and occasional formative pruning can help maintain its attractive shape.

Graceful & Seasonal: Combining cascading branches, delicate pink flowers, fresh summer foliage, and attractive winter structure, this ornamental cherry provides interest across the seasons and brings a romantic character to the garden.
