Malus ‘Jack Humm’ Semi-Dwarf Crabapple

Compact Deciduous Form: Malus ‘Jack Humm’ develops a neat, rounded to spreading habit with attractive green foliage, making it a versatile ornamental tree for gardens where a smaller feature tree is preferred.

Beautiful Seasonal Blossoms: In spring, the tree produces an attractive display of delicate flowers, bringing colour and interest to the garden. The blossoms are followed by developing crabapples that add further seasonal appeal.

Colourful Crabapple Fruit: Small ornamental crabapples develop as the season progresses, providing a striking feature against the foliage. The fruit can remain on the tree into the cooler months, extending its ornamental interest.

Ideal Garden Feature: Its semi-dwarf growth habit makes ‘Jack Humm’ well suited to home gardens, courtyards, lawns, borders, and smaller landscapes. It can also be used as an attractive focal point where space is limited.

Sun-Loving & Easy Care: This crabapple performs best in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil. Regular watering while establishing and during extended dry periods will help maintain healthy growth and attractive foliage.

Ornamental & Wildlife Friendly: Combining spring flowers, fresh summer foliage, colourful fruit, and a manageable size, ‘Jack Humm’ provides interest across several seasons. Its fruit can also provide a useful food source for garden birds.
