Liquidambar ‘Summer Storm’

Strong Deciduous Growth: Liquidambar ‘Summer Storm’ develops a handsome, upright to broadly spreading form with lush green foliage. Its well-structured branching and substantial canopy make it an excellent choice for adding height and presence to the landscape.

Brilliant Autumn Colour: One of its standout features is its spectacular autumn display. As the weather cools, the foliage transforms into rich shades of yellow, orange, red, and burgundy, creating a vibrant focal point in the garden.

Lush Summer Foliage: During spring and summer, the tree carries a dense canopy of glossy, star-shaped green leaves. The fresh foliage provides excellent shade and a strong backdrop for surrounding plants.

Excellent Feature Tree: A superb choice for lawns, large gardens, driveways, avenues, and open landscapes. Its impressive size and seasonal colour make it particularly effective as a specimen or feature tree.

Sun-Loving & Adaptable: ‘Summer Storm’ performs best in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil and consistent moisture, particularly while establishing. Providing adequate space allows the canopy and root system to develop naturally.

Four-Season Landscape Interest: From fresh spring growth and dense summer foliage to spectacular autumn colour and an attractive winter silhouette, ‘Summer Storm’ provides strong visual interest throughout the year.
