Lepidozamia peroffskyana is a majestic, slow-growing cycad native to eastern Australia, admired for its bold, tropical presence and lush, glossy foliage. Forming a stout, palm-like trunk, this ancient plant produces a graceful crown of long, dark green fronds that arch elegantly, giving it a dramatic, sculptural appearance. Despite its exotic look, it’s remarkably hardy and well-suited to temperate gardens or as a striking feature in large containers. With minimal care and a strong tolerance for shade, this living fossil adds timeless appeal to landscapes inspired by nature’s prehistoric beauty.
