Elegant Upright Growth: Lagerstroemia indica ‘Saint Emilion’ forms an attractive deciduous tree with a neat, upright habit and well-branched structure. Its refined shape makes it well suited to feature planting, garden beds, borders, driveways, entrances, and smaller landscape spaces.

Rich Summer Flowering: During the warmer months, ‘Saint Emilion’ produces generous clusters of attractive flowers in rich pink to rosy-purple shades. The blooms are held prominently across the branches, creating a colourful display when many other ornamental trees have finished flowering.

Long-Lasting Floral Impact: One of the standout qualities of this crepe myrtle is its extended summer flowering period. The abundant blooms can provide weeks of colour, bringing strong seasonal interest and helping to brighten sunny areas of the garden.

Fresh Green Summer Foliage: The flowers are complemented by fresh green, oval-shaped leaves that create a pleasing canopy throughout the growing season. The foliage provides a lush backdrop for the colourful flower clusters while maintaining an elegant overall appearance.

Beautiful Autumn Colour: As temperatures begin to cool, the foliage can develop attractive autumn tones before the leaves fall. This seasonal transition adds another layer of interest and allows the tree’s branching structure and attractive bark to become more visible.

Ornamental Bark & Winter Structure: Once the leaves have dropped, the smooth, decorative bark and branching framework remain an appealing feature. This gives ‘Saint Emilion’ interest beyond its flowering season and adds texture to the winter landscape.

Ideal Feature Tree: A versatile choice for courtyards, lawns, garden borders, patios, entrances, driveways, and lifestyle properties. Its manageable form and showy summer flowers make it particularly effective where a colourful ornamental tree is required without dominating the surrounding garden.

Sun-Loving & Easy to Establish: Performs best in a sunny, open position with fertile, well-drained soil. Regular moisture during establishment encourages healthy growth and flowering, while a warm position helps maximise its summer floral display.

Colourful & Multi-Season Appeal: Lagerstroemia indica ‘Saint Emilion’ combines an elegant deciduous form with vibrant summer flowers, attractive foliage, autumn colour, and decorative winter structure. It is an excellent choice for adding long-lasting colour and refined ornamental character to sunny landscapes.
