Acer ‘Viridis’: The Elegant Green Laceleaf Maple

The Acer palmatum dissectum ‘Viridis’ is an exceptionally beautiful Japanese maple, prized for its delicate, cascading form and finely textured foliage. This elegant tree adds a soft, timeless beauty to any garden, providing year-round interest.

Its signature feature is the delicate, lace-like foliage that emerges a vibrant, fresh green in spring. The leaves hold their brilliant colour through the summer before transforming into a breath-taking display of gold, orange, and fiery red in autumn.

Why ‘Viridis’ is a Specimen Tree Favourite

• Versatile Use: Perfect as a specimen tree in rockeries, courtyards, near water features, or as a striking feature in a large container.
• Year-Round Appeal: Offers beautiful color and texture from spring through to late autumn.
• Easy to Grow: This compact, slow-growing maple thrives in sunny to partly shaded positions with well-drained soil, making it a reliable and low-maintenance choice.
